Arbitrage engine and web interface update

We have just released a new updated version of our arbitrage engine and web interface. We have made a lot of performance improvements since the last release. We now cover more than 500 cross market combinations, 66 bookmakers and 2 exchanges.

The client has a new interface for selecting bookmakers where you can change the commission of the exchanges(Betfair and Matchbook). It is also possible to set a filter "Minimal odds". This means that you can specify a minimal odds for a specific bookmaker. E.g. if you don't want to see PinnacleSports odds below 2.00 then set the Minimal odds for Pinnacle to 2.00.

Betfair is now also available with back odds in sure bets, not only lay as before. The alarm function is updated and working properly. We have also added a filter called "Maximum number of legs". If you just want to see sure bets with two legs then you can set this filter to show max 2 legs sure bets. When you click on advanced calculator for a sure bet it is now possible to quickly change the odds with a radiobutton. This makes it easier to recalculate the profit and stakes if you want to select another odds or bookmaker.

We have also introduced better linking to our bookmakers. Starting with Betfair, Betclic, 10bet and Extrabet you will now be redirected directly to the event you click on. This concerns both sure bets and odds comparison. We will add this feature to more bookmakers and we will update you on this in the blog and newsletter.

What is Asian Handicap - an explanation of split and standard handicaps

There are two types of asian handicaps: Standard and Split handicaps.

Standard handicaps are either an integer or a half:
-0.5
0
+0.5
and so on..

The number acctually means a goal handicap or point, depending on the sport.

Example:
Lets say that Manchester United plays against Arsenal and the result is 1 - 1.

AH1 +0.5 means that Manchester United has an additional 0.5 goal. So the actual result is 1.5 - 1, which means that a AH1 +0.5 bet would be a winning bet.
Draw is not an option when using AH +0.5.
AH1 +0.5 is therefore the same thing as Double Chance 1X.

Split handicaps (also known as quarter handicaps) are the handicaps between the standard handicaps:
-0.25 (also known as "0 and -0.5" or "pk and -0.5)
+0.25 (also known as "0 and +0.5" or "pk and +0.5)

and so on..

Example:
Lets say that Manchester United plays against Arsenal and the result is 1 - 1.

AH1 +0.25 means half stake at AH1 0 and half stake at AH1 +0.5.
AH1 0 is the same as the bet type Draw No Bet which means that the stake is refunded if the game outcome is a draw.

Lets say you place a bet €100 : AH1 +0.25.
This acctually means that €50 is placed on AH1 0 and €50 is placed on AH1 +0.5

The game result was 1-1 - that means that the AH1 0 part is refunded and the AH1 +0.5 is a winning bet.

Real example with numbers (always easier to understand :)

Denmark vs Netherlands
AH1 +0.25 has the odd 1.15
AH1 +0.5 has the odd 1.13

If you place your bet at AH1 +0.5 (€100) and the result is 1-1 the winnings are:
1.13 * 100 = €113

If you place your bet at AH1 +0.5 (€100) and the result is 2-1 the winnings are:
1.13 * 100 = €113

If you place your bet at AH1 +0.25 (€100) and the result is 1-1 the winnings are:
AH1 (+0.5) 1.15 * 50 = win = €57,5
AH1 (0) 1.15 * 50 = draw means refund = €50
€57.5 + €50 = €107.5

If you place your bet at AH1 +0.25 (€100) and the result is 2-1 the winnings are:
AH1 (+0.5) 1.15 * 50 = win = €57,5
AH1 (0) 1.15 * 50 = win = €57.5
€57.5 + €57.5 = €115
